TOP TEN AWARD CERMONEY

Today, September 14th, 2022,  College of Education held an amazing celebration to announce the first top ten students in the wonderful setting of the university conference hall. During the celebration, the names of the first top ten students were announced, and the first toppers were rewarded for their hard work and the effort that they put into their academic achievements last year. Prof. Dr. Kayhan Z Ghafour, University president, gave a short speech during the ceremony, and Miss Bekhal B K, Head of ELT, gave the following speech:

" In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Dear esteemed university president, vice president, colleagues, students, parents, and guests, I am delighted to welcome you today to our celebration for announcing the first toppers and for celebrating the success of our first toppers. Always keep in mind that the university does not bestow such a prestigious award haphazardly. You have earned it. So, thank you for the hard work that has brought you here. I want to quote Desmond Tutu's speech, "When you stand out in a crowd, it is only because you're being carried out on the shoulders of others." I'm confident that you would express your gratitude to your lecturers, whose efforts and commitment have made today possible, on behalf of everyone present. So, on behalf of our top students, I would like to say an enormous thank you to my colleagues who helped the toppers who will be seen here today on the stage. I would like to thank all the faculty, parents, and students for working incredibly hard to make the previous school year great. You all worked incredibly hard, and your efforts have shown in all areas of your social and academic achievements. You should be very proud of yourselves. As the head of the department, it is my job to support and praise the learning journey of our school community, and we are excited about all you achieved last year.” Here are some videos and photos of today's event:
