ELT Students visited Al-Kitab University

 Visiting universities is one of the most common things the department does every year because it is part of its mission. On October 31st, 2023, some ELT students and the HOD visited Al-Kitab University.    A brief talk about the faculty and the university as well as on the recently published book was given by Miss Bekhal B K (HOD).  The students also gave their bit about their published stories. Miss Bekhal gave her first impression on the university this way: "We were impressed by the warm hospitality of the faculty members, especially Dr Esbah Shakir Al-Duri, Head of the English department; the faculty on the outside and inside looked very clean and up to date. The classroom management was very systematic, which is very great!

Sixth Dialogue in World in Conversation

 Today, October 27, 2023 Knowledge University students took part in their sixth dialogue on Social problems with Digital Entertainment.  The students actively participated and contributed to the debate with Penn State University students. Here are some  pictures of today's dialogue:

Commencement Ceremony 2022-2023 - College of Arts - Department of EL Awarded 28 Graduates

Graduation is always a special day when students can celebrate their accomplishments and look back on their hard work as they embark on the next phase of their lives. Today, October 25th, 2023, the College of Arts held its 11th  commencement ceremony, awarding students who have completed their bachelor's degree requirements in 2022-2023.  'Akam Azad' was ranked first in the College amongst peers during his honors degree.  Congratulations to him and to all our lovely graduates of 2022-2023.  We are very proud of you all and keep shining!

Fifth Dialogue in World in Conversation

Book Launch Ceremony

If undergraduates are able to write books within their four years of academic study, then it is a crucial activity.  Thankfully, our ELT students were able to successfully complete their first book, Parable, this year.  The book concentrates on the personal life experiences that occurred in the writers' real lives and offers readers moral lessons written by Miss Bekhal, who is currently the Head of the Department of ELT at the College of Education and ELT students.
