I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to our top ten students.  This is a high honor for the highest achieving students in our department, ELT, who are worthy of recognition.  I am sure it has taken countless hours of studying, planning, and homework to achieve such impressive grades which has resulted in their names appearing in this post!  I encourage them to regard themselves as examples and role models for their classmates. As the head of the department, I would like to recognize their hard work and efforts they put in to achieve this prestigious recognition.
