"First of all, I would like to extend my gratitude to ms. Bekhal for inviting me to the university to get acquainted with the English language department. It was lovely to get to know the students in the language class and it was wonderful to hear from them on how they have been dealing with the challenging circumstances that they are going through. I encouraged all of them to try and speak English even if they don't feel confident with their language skills yet. Practise will help enormously to grow in mastering a language. I also extended an invitation to the students to come and practise at the English language cafe that I and some friends organise every Thursday from 6-8pm in House of Hope in Ankawa (location details can be gained through ms. Bekhal). Last, but not least, I offered prayer to the group in the name of Jesus Christ. He was known for His healing miracles while he walked on this earth more than 2000 years ago and has given his followers the command to go and pray for people who are ill. I asked God, on behalf of Jesus, to strengthen the immune systems of the students, to give them wisdom and endurance, and to give a deep hunger for truth in their hearts."
